Kimmy’s has been rescuing cats and kittens for the last 15 years on the beach in Great Kills. Currently she has 27 cats in a temporary shelter. $450k is needed to design and build a new shelter.
The replacement shelter will be built to withstand the forces that destroyed it. It will be built on piers. Windmill & solar panels will be use to generate electricity.
Geo thermal technology will be used to generate heat & air conditioning and a new technology using salt water to generate electricity will be researched.
